My name is Danny Berryman. I am a University Studies major at the University of New Mexico. Even though I am not an Education major, I have always enjoyed working with children and so I took some education classes this semester. In Children's Literature I was fortunate enough to be able to work with students at Heights Middle School and got to share some fun poems with them. After we presented the poems initially, the students got to learn them and perform them for the young students at Mesa Verde Elementary. It was a rewarding experience and I have compiled much of the experience on this website. Beyond the practicum, we have read 100 children's books and compiled some information on those books. This site is a very broad overview of the hard work we all put into this semester.
